Three Questions to Settle Before You Sign

Three Questions to Settle Before You Sign

These are the three things owners hesitate over before implementing an AI agent, and each one is fair. Each also has an answer you can check yourself, before you spend anything.

The Evidence

73% of Owners Say They Need More AI Training

Those three questions are not yours alone. Separate studies of small business owners found the same split: most never start, and of those who do, almost none get the thing properly running.

What you get

What Is Inside the Buyer's Guide

Ten parts, about 25 minutes to read. The checklist at the end is the part most people use first, and it works on any vendor.

13 Questions, With the Reason for Each

The checklist the whole guide builds toward. Each question has a line on why it matters and what a weak answer sounds like.

Six Options, Priced Side by Side

Doing it yourself, hiring, a chatbot, an agency, DIY software, a managed agent. What each costs, what each covers, where each breaks.

Four Metrics, With Honest Ranges

What to measure and what is achievable. It also names the figures the industry quotes that nobody can source, and tells you to ignore them.

The Part Where I Sell, Clearly Marked

One section covers what I build. It is labelled so you can skip it, and the rest works whether you ever speak to me or not.

The Whole Thing, Then a Short Course

The document arrives complete, with no second half to unlock. A few emails afterwards work through one checklist question at a time. One click stops them.

I Know Where the Money Leaks

I am Stefano Bertoli, and I build managed AI voice and chat agents for WordPress stores. Before I quote anyone I run this audit on their store. I won’t sell an agent to a shop whose real problem is a product page that answers nothing.

About a third of the time it says the agent isn’t the first thing they need, and I say so. If you run it yourself and the number is small, we both saved a call. If it is large, you know what it is worth before we ever speak.

I lead every deployment personally. My team runs the infrastructure. That is also why this document exists before the sale rather than after it. I would rather find out in an afternoon that your problem is not one I can fix.

I am covering the implementation cost for stores that come in while I have no public results to show. They are taking the earlier risk, and this is how I price it. The audit is free either way, and it tells you whether this is worth doing at all.

Questions Ecomm Owners Ask Before They Download It

Ten answers. Where the honest answer is that the guide is not for you, that is what it says.

About 25 minutes end to end. The checklist itself is two pages and takes two minutes to use, so if you are in a hurry, skip to the checklist at the end and come back to the rest later.

One section near the end covers what I build and what it does not fix. It is marked as such, so you can skip it. The rest works whether you ever speak to me or not.

It names none. It gives you 13 questions, an honest comparison of 6 approaches including doing nothing, and the 4 metrics that separate a claim from a result. The shortlist stays yours.

The one about what the agent does when it does not know. Every vendor has an answer for the easy path and almost none have written down the hard one. If a demo never shows you a failure, you have not seen the product.

Both. One question asks whether the agent answers the phone or only typed chat, and most vendors fail it. A chat widget reaches only the people who type, and the guide shows you what that leaves out.

In the EU, yes, and building it in is the vendor’s job rather than a setting you switch on. It appears on your storefront either way, so the checklist asks every vendor to show you the exact words your customer sees, and when. Rules differ outside the EU, so check your own market.

No. There is no call in this offer and nothing is scheduled after you download it. If you want to hear an agent answer a real question afterwards, there is a demo you can book on a store I run, with twelve real products and real orders, so you can test it without giving anyone access to yours.

Yes. The 13 questions are platform-neutral, and the notes tell you which ones change depending on what your store runs on. SureCart is next for the agent, and the questions work on a SureCart store today either way.

It goes on a list I use to send the guide. After that, occasional notes about what I find in other stores. One click to leave, and I share it with nobody. Leaving does not take the guide back.

Then it has done its job and cost you 25 minutes. A store whose real problem is pricing or a product page will not be fixed by an agent, and the guide says so. I would rather you knew now than four months in.

Before you go

Take the Checklist Into the Next Demo

Most buyers arrive at a demo with questions about features, which is what a demo is designed to show. The 13 questions cover the parts it tends to leave out: who maintains the thing, what the numbers actually count, and what happens on the questions your data cannot answer. Use them on any vendor, including me.
